My way and the Highway

I was waiting for my Girlfriend to arrive at my house because she was invited to lunch. We had lunch together at our house, she was excited to taste the cookings of my mom. We had chicken curry for lunch. My girlfriend was not fond of spicy food before we met but all those change when she tasted my moms cooking. Anyways, after we ate, we were waiting for the time to prepare for church cause it was palm Sunday. After the mass we ate outside together with my family. Now, before we went to church, I keep on asking myself what did I forgot? Usually every time I ask that question, it always and I do mean ALWAYS, I ended up walking home. And yes, I did end up walking home. After we ate, I called a taxi then there, now I know what to answer to my question. My wallet.

Another blundering move, I didn't ask any money because I was to full of myself thinking I can find a way. "smooth move" said to myself. I was hoping that I have some money hiding in my pocket. And I did manage to found 20 pesos at the back pocket of my pants. Dunno if that was a God given grace but what the heck. still I have to take my girlfriend back to her place. Now I'm down with 10 pesos. She asked me "mka buhay2 pa ka?" and I said "uu eh! ako pa". Now my original plan is to get in the jeepney then risk of getting caught and the udder humiliation of not paying or get in the jeepney pay the fare and take a long walk home. I chose the 2nd option of the plan.

Note to self, always put a sticky note saying "Ayaw tinanga dodong!"
